Fast Forward

Well I have been slacking and have been super busy with the new lady in my life so I haven't been able to keep up with the blog. So I'm going to fast forward to where I'm at today. I gave up my student this summer :(. My cousin decided that her kids were ready for a dog, so Miko went home with them, which is real good. After Miko got a new home, I have been super busy running around with the lady and all. We have been to two wedding so far, and we coordinated or outfits in both of them, yeah we're dorks and we know it. We have spent time with each others parents and this past weekend was the first time the lady got to spend an extended amount of time with my parents and it was really good. This past weekend my friends from college came to visit from DC so the lady got to meet them, oh yeah a successful meeting!! So the lady and I went from living apart to living together back to living apart. I did like living with her, but we both talked about it and we didn't want to miss out on the dating aspect of our relationship. I have told close friends how I feel about the lady. I have never felt this way in my life! She just does something to me and I cant explain it. I'm sticking with this lady for the long haul, and long haul it will be! The lady and I have spent some amazing nights together and sometimes our dorkyness comes out, but I do find that I really enjoy when we'll just start dancing to a song, or the lady sings a song in the car, in the house. She has a great smile, laugh and everything about her is amazing. I never knew someone like her was out there. She is the one...

Twins Game

Well the big event came and I was so nervous/excited. Nervous to meet the girl of my dreams and excited to see the Twins play. Pop and I went to the Corner Bar to meet up with his better half and the GIRL. Pop and his better half and I got to the Corner Bar before the girl so we order some drinks and some food. I sat facing the front door, so every time Pop would make a look like the girl was here, I took a quick not obvious peak, none of the girls were the GIRL. After a while the GIRL should up and I stood up trying to be a gentleman and she put her hand out to shake mine while we introduced each other. She looked so pretty, here hair was smooth and shiny, her eyes were so pretty, but that smile was something worth waiting for to see. She was gorgeous but I had to keep in mind that this was just another night out. I played it like that, but it was very hard. We finished up a quick bite at the Corner Bar and then we went off to the game. On the way to the game the girls tried to walk down an alley and with my background I asked the girls to not take that route and to stick to the street. The girls questioned it at first, but finally came around and understood. When we got to the game the Pop and I ended up sitting by each other putting the girls at the other end. Well played Pop. After a few innings our beers ran out and we were starting to get thirsty again. The girls decided to go get the drinks and pretzels while the guys went to the bathroom. On our way back to the seats the GIRL and I ended up sitting by each other and it was perfect. We laughed and I talked about how sweet of a softball player I was and was trying to get on the team. After the Twins pulled off a last minute run to win the game the first meeting was over. On the car ride home I told Pop and his better half that she was a girl I wanted to get to know more!!!

Operation Dumbo Drop II

I finally made it back to Minnesota. When I got here all I had was my student, a job and roof over my head. The first few days and weeks back I spent a lot of time catching up with old friends and getting use to the cold weather. After being here a few weeks a friend (Pop), invited me to a night of drinking in Inver Grove Heights. Pop was talking this night of drinking up so much and especially about this one girl that lived in Inver Grove Heights. I regrettably did not make it out that fine evening, not because I was scared of meeting a new girl, but scared of what could happen when I met this girl.
I spent the next few weeks hanging out and celebrating like I never celebrated before. One evening we were at a friends house. Crackle and Pop and their better halves were there. After a few drinks in, Pop's better half started talking about this friend of hers that she felt would be a perfect match for me (Snap). I was kind of hesitant at first, but figured what do I have to lose. So the setup day was going to be at one of the Twins Home Opener Game. I did not even take time to analyze the situation, which was a first for me.
Monday morning I had to get an email out to both Crackle and Pop talking about the main event. We talked about the plan of attack I should take, it was decided that my best avenue would be to go into the evening as just another night of hanging out. to be continued....

Beginning

I want to welcome you to my first Blog. This blog is essentially going to bring you on a journey of how I ended up in the City. There were many pot holes, turns, and mountains in the route and they will continue to be there on this journey. So pick your car/boat/train/bike/pair of shoes/balloon and pack up, because there's a 99.9% chance we wont bw coming back.
